During difficult times of crisis, in the age where technology is so relied upon, Telecommunications remains an important bridge in connecting each other. While quarantine has many communities out of physical reach from each other, the internet, phone lines, and other telecom components are vital to our functionality. It’s what keeps us moving. Whether for our livelihoods, world news, school or even for entertainment, we thrive on the speed of information at our fingertips.
4Telecomhelp has been able to maintain a healthy dose of can-do attitude for our customers during this COVID-19 pandemic. Since the shutdown of various businesses, we have worked out arrangements with many of our customers to provision more convenient set ups in their home offices so that they may continue to perform for their employee’s sake. Upgrading internet speeds, directing traffic on point-to-numbers, or creating more available open lines have been our main focus for these businesses. Although we are not on the frontline of the courageous essential workers, we pride ourselves in being able to aid those workers where they need us. We are doing our part for our customers, which include hospitals, banks, and constructions companies in supporting their needs so that the world will continue to flourish even after the pandemic is over.
4Telecomhelp’s project management team was able to implement a secondary point to point circuit for a large bank’s data center due to their employees suddenly having to become remote workers. The bank relies on these connections for support because it provides more bandwidth, as well as a diverse pass to poles for back up in case the primary circuit goes down.
Our project team once again stepped up for another customer, whose hospitals are mainly supported by Voice Over IP, to ensure they have enough SIP call paths to support the volume of calls expected to increase due to the COVID-19 crisis. Working closely with the vendors, we also had to turn down offices that are not open to avoid penalties.
Due to the changes that have taken place, our Telecom Expense Management team follows through to ensure the billing accuracy of these changes. We have also been in constant communication with vendors to credit late fees, and the customers finance departments to ensure timely payments or remit delays during these tough times.
If we have the ability, we must use that ability to aid others. 4T has the mindset of assisting with Telecommunication needs knowing the risk that we may not receive a return. We have done our best to lower costs while maintaining our company’s requirements to stay afloat. Everybody needs to pitch in to support our communities and we are doing our best to play that part.
