Mark Dezura, Chief Network Architect with Automated Financial Systems (AFS) has been a 4TelecomHelp customer since 1999 and credits them with helping to keep the network infrastructure running smoothly and saving him a lot of problems over the years by managing all of their TEM, WEM and Provisioning.
An Interview with Mark Dezura, Head of Network Architecture at Automated Financial Systems
Founded in 1970, Automated Financial Systems, Inc. (AFS) is the industry leader in lending and risk management solutions for financial institutions. Based in Exton, PA, AFS has offices around the globe. AFS provides the industry’s only fully integrated commercial lending system designed to process multiple types of loans on a single, real-time, multibank, multilingual, multicurrency system. Integral to the core AFS lending solution is its unique straight-through processing capability encompassing the lending process from Origination through Servicing. AFS deploys its resources to solve bank problems and this means up time and reliability are essential.
Over the two decades, 4T has supported Mark and AFS through three network migrations to new architectures. As a cutting-edge commercial lender, AFS needs to keep up with the latest technology for speed and efficiency. 4T ensured that each migration went smoothly and got back on track when things went awry. One “save” that Mark brings up was when a carrier inadvertently cancelled multiple circuits and 4T got them restored – a feat Mark thought impossible because they’d been decommissioned. But the experienced 4T team did what they are best at and got everything squared away without a disruption.
The AFS hosted private cloud-based AFSCommerce processes over $300B in loans! When you are in the financial services space, up time is especially critical as it can impact transactions, and also carries hefty penalties.
Mark enjoys working with Linda and the team who get him the reports he needs to run his fixed and wireless telecom and network infrastructure.
4T thanks Mark and AFS for their continued patronage!
